    The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ (Victoria) today congratulated the Victorian Government on their record $5.3 billion investment into social and affordable housing as part of the 2020-2021 Victorian Budget.

    President of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ (PIA) Victoria Gareth Hately said PIA had previously called for social and affordable housing development to be the centrepiece of Victoria’s economic recovery and welcomed the government’s commitment to build 12,000 homes over four years.

    Earlier tonight at an online ceremony, five projects and concepts received Australia’s highest accolade for urban design as part of the 2020 Australian Urban Design Awards (AUDA).

    The AUDA are co-convened by the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ (PIA), the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
